
Shang Sheng (164-196) served Wang Lang as a general. He opposed Sun Ce and defeated Han Yan. He wanted to surrender to He Qi but was murdered by his vassals.
Biography[]
Shang Sheng was one of Wang Lang's commanders and was under the command of Inspector of Yang Province Liu Yao.
In 194 AD, Sun Ce, Lu Meng, Zhou Tai, Han Dang, Huang Gai, Zhu Huan, and a few more generals invaded Yang Province, so Shang Sheng and Zhou Xin resisted them at the Battle of Jiangwang. Shang Sheng and Zhou Xin were victorious, defeating the Sun clan's army.
In 196 AD, after several defeats, Shang Sheng planned to surrender to Sun Ce's general He Qi, but his own vassals killed him.
