
Shane R. Harris is an American Protestant reverend who was known for his civil rights activism during the 2010s.
Biography[]
Shane R. Harris grew up in southeast San Diego, California, and he grew up in foster care, being transferred to many homes several times. At the age of sixteen, he entered the Protestant ministry, and he would become a young reverend in San Diego. Harris spoke out for civil rights in the 2010s, and Governor Jerry Brown said that he gave a voice to people who were unable to speak. In 2016, he condemned the shooting of an unarmed and mentally-ill African-American man in El Cajon, and he spoke out against police shootings of unarmed black people.
