Shane Aguero (10 June 1972-) was an American soldier who held the rank of First Lieutenant in the US Army. He served as a platoon leader in 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division during the Iraq War, distinguishing himself at the 2004 Siege of Sadr City.
