Shahriyar Beg was the Pakistani High Commissioner in London during the 2010s. In 2015, undercover RAW agent Daniyal Khan called him, claiming to have information on Sajid Majid's death, and stating that Majid's "accidental" death was actually perpetrated by RAW. Khan told Beg that he wanted to avenge his dishonorable discharge from the Indian Army, and that he wanted to meet Lashkar-e-Taiba's leader in Pakistan. Beg was infuriated, saying that he was not a servant of Lashkar, and he told Khan to never call him again.
