Shahdokht Noor "the Fairest of Chandax" (8 February 870-) was an Emira of the Emirate of Crete as the wife of Yunus ibn Salim.
Biography[]
Shahdokht Noor was born in 870 to a family of Saffarid nobility. In 889, she married Sultan Yunus ibn Salim, ruler of the Emirate of Crete, and she became his primary wife and his designated reegent.
