Shadwell railway station is a London Overground station in Shadwell in East London. The original station opened on 10 April 1876, and it served the District and Metropolitan lines of the London Underground until its closure in 2007; in 1987, a DLR station was established nearby, becoming interchangeable with Shadwell station. In 2010, Shadwell station reopened as an Overground station.
