Shadow Company

Emblem of Shadow Company.

Shadow Company is a private military company founded in the early 2010s in the wake of Imran Zakhaev's death. Shadow Company served directly under the command of General Herschel Shepherd, though officially led by an agent of Shepherd acting as CEO. In August 2016, they participated in several raids against Inner Circle and Task Force 141 units, 141 having been branded as traitors after the nuke detonation above Washington, DC.

Their operations ceased after Shepherd's death on 16 August 2016, though were revived in 2020 under the command of CEO and Commander Phillip Graves and Senior Officer Marcus Ortega in the wake of the Armistice's collapse, fighting with the Allegiance in the hunt for Viktor Zakhaev. Later, they were hired by General William Shepherd to smuggle rockets to US allies, only to be ambushed by the Russian PMC Konni. Shadow Company fought alongside Task Force 141 and the Los Vaqueros regiment of the Mexican Cuerpo de Fuerzas Especiales against al-Qatala and the Las Almas Cartel. They later betrayed 141 and Los Vaqueros by Shepherd's order, though a majority of Shadow Company and presumably Graves were killed in a retaliatory fight at the stolen Los Vaqueros base in Las Almas, Mexico.
