Settimio Sottosanti (died 3 January 1480) was a Florentine mercenary in the service of the House of Pazzi. In 1480, he was sent to guard a meeting between Rodrigo Borgia, Emilio Barbarigo, and Jacopo de Pazzi outside of San Gimignano, and Sottosanti and Elia Tozzi both restrained Ezio Auditore da Firenze when he was discovered by Borgia. Auditore told the two men that he would not harm them if he let them go, but the Assassin was forced to kill them with his hidden blades when they attacked him.
