The September 2024 Haret Hreik airstrike occurred on 20 September 2024 when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed Hezbollah Jihad Council member and Redwan Force leader Ibrahim Aqil in a targeted airstrike in the Dahieh suburb of Beirut.

On 17 September 2024, the Security Cabinet of Israel established a new war objective the safe return of displaced residents to northern Israel. Shortly after, Israel triggered the explosion of thousands of handheld pagers and walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah, creating chaos in Lebanon and Syria. On 19-20 September, Israel launched a series of airstrikes across Lebanon to destroy Hezbollah's rocket-launching capabilities. At 3:45 PM on 20 September 2024, Israel launched an airstrike on a building in Dahieh's Jamous Street, wiping out the ground floor. Hezbollah's operations commander Ibrahim Aqil and commander Ahmed Wehbe were killed, and 11 others were among the dead, while 66 were wounded.

Israel claimed that ten Hezbollah commanders were among the dead, and that Aqil and his Redwan Force commanders had been meeting to coordinate an al-Aqsa Flood-style raid invasion of northern Israel called "The Plan to Conquer the Galilee," to be carried out the same day as the order was given.
