Seer Runa was a Cherusci German seer during the 1st century AD. She was a close confidant of Thusnelda, the future wife of Arminius, and, in 9 AD, she cautioned Thusnelda about her attempts to pass herself off as a seeress without actually possessing the gift of foresight. Runa predicted a dark future for Thusnelda, and, after the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, Runa told Thusnelda that the child she bore was not Arminius' son, and that she was being punished.
