Death[]

Gismonte after being shot
Gismonte and Bevilaqua later plotted to kill Moltisanti to win approval from DiMeo caporegime Richie Aprile, hoping to become made men in his crew. The two men drove past Moltisanti in the parking lot of the Skyway Diner under the Pulaski Skyway in Kearny, New Jersey, where Gismonte greeted Moltisanti before pulling out a gun and shooting him several times. Moltisanti was badly wounded, but the gunmen failed to kill him. Bevilacqua fled the car on foot, but Gismonte was kept in the car by his seatbelt, and Moltisanti shot him in the head as he tried to unbuckle himself to escape.
