Seaborn Reese (28 November 1846-1 March 1907) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-GA 8) from 4 December 1882 to 3 March 1887, succeeding Alexander H. Stephens and preceding Henry Hull Carlton.
Biography[]
Seaborn Reese was born in Madison, Georgia in 1846, and he practiced law in Madison, Augusta, and Sparta. He served in the state house from 1872 to 1874, as a solicitor general from 1877 to 1880, in the US House of Representatives from 1882 to 1887, and as a judge from 1893 to 1900.
