
Seaborn Jones (1 February 1788-18 March 1864) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-GA AL) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1835 (preceding Charles E. Haynes) and from GA-2 from 4 March 1845 to 3 March 1847 (preceding Alfred Iverson, Sr.). Born in Augusta, he practiced law in Milledgeville before serving as Solicitor General of Georgia in 1823 and in Congress.
