
Scott Peters (17 June 1958-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-CA 52) from 3 January 2013, succeeding Brian Bilbray.
Biography[]
Scott Peters was born in Springfield, Ohio in 1958, and he was raised in Michigan. He served as an EPA economist, as a deputy city attorney in San Diego, California, and as an environmental law attorney. Peters served on the San Diego City Council from 2000 to 2008, and he was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2012. He was a member of the centrist New Democrats.
