
Scott DesJarlais (21 February 1964-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-TN 4) from 3 January 2011, succeeding Lincoln Davis.
Biography[]
Scott DesJarlais was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1964, and he grew up in Sturgis, South Dakota. In 1993, he moved to Tennessee to practice medicine as a generalist, and he became a Tea Party movement activist. In 2010, he was elected to the US House of Representatives as a Republican Party member.
