Saverio Bronzino (1451 - 25 April 1478) was an Italain mercenary hired by the House of Pazzi during the Pazzi Conspiracy. In 1478, Saverio and Ilario Barbolani were sent to patrol the catacombs under the Santa Maria Novella in Florence, and Bronzino saw the job as easy, hoping to tell his wife Elena about the large amount of gold that he was to be paid. However, he was assassinated by Ezio Auditore da Firenze after heading to investigate the mysterious opening of the catacomb doors.
