Persia in 270 BC
Persia, properly known as the Satrapy of Persia or Province of Persia, was a client state of the Seleucid Empire. It was created in 330 BC when Alexander the Great conquered the Persian Empire after a series of battles with Darius Codomannus. Persia's capital was Persepolis while Gor, Susa, and Rhaga were major cities. It was eventually conquered by the expanding Parthian Empire.
