Sara bint Talal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud (1973-) was a princess of the House of Saud and a daughter of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.

Biography[]

Sara was born in 1973, the daughter of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, and her beauty and material well-being led to her being nicknamed "Little Barbie". She married a royal cousin after studying at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but she divorced him in her 20s and ran a charity organization, accompanying her father and UNICEF to refugee camps. In 2007, she sought political asylum in the United Kingdom with her four children to flee from her father, and in July 2012 she announced her support for reform and anti-corruption laws in Saudi Arabia.
