Santa Monica 13 is a Mexican-American street gang from Santa Monica, California that was founded in the late 1920s. The gang gave birth to all of the surrounding Hispanic gangs on the Westside, and it would become known for its violent ways after the creation of the Mexican Mafia during the 1950s. The gang allied with Venice 13 and Culver City 13, while it was enemies with the 18th Street Gang, the Venice Shoreline Crips, MS-13, the Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips, the Bloods, and the Pirus.
