The San Miguel Ruins raid occurred in 2019 when a team of American special forces operatives attacked a Santa Blanca Cartel base in the ruins of a Spanish colonial settlement in the swamps of Caimanes, Bolivia.

The last of Patricio Mendez Valle's three cocaine-trafficking submarines was docked at the San Miguel Ruins deep in the swamps of Caimanes. After destroying the first two subs, Major Anthony Perryman and his team flew to their next target by helicopter. The narcos at the San Miguel ruins used a SAM launcher to shoot down the helicopter, but the Americans parachuted into the ruins and took cover behind the stone wall of a ruined home. After intense close-quarters fighting, the American squad located the last of Mendez's Florida-bound submarines, and Major Perryman destroyed it with a hand grenade, ending the cartel's seaborne smuggling operation.
