San Luis Potosi is a state in north-central Mexico, with San Luis Potosi serving as its capital. The state borders Nuevo Leon and Coahuila to the north, Tamaulipas to the northeast, Veracruz to the east, Hidalgo, Queretaro, and Guanajuato to the south, and Zacatecas to the northwest. In 2015, San Luis Potosi had a population of 2,717,820 people.
