The San Francisco Bratva was a Russian Mafia-affiliated criminal organization that was active in the Bay Area of northern California.

The Bratva arrived in San Francisco in the 1980s as scouts for the Brighton Beach mafia in Brooklyn, and they transformed San Francisco into one of the centers of money launding operations via Russia and the United States. The gang ran brothels, trafficked drugs and people, and committed other violent crimes, and they even extorted monevy from hospitals using ransomware. Gang members expressed Soviet nostalgia through communist "Hammer and Sickle", CCCP, and Vladimir Lenin tattoos and iconography.
