San Damaso was a sloop of the Spanish Navy that was a component of Admiral Jose de Santillan's fleet in the year 1700. She fought in the Battle of Cabo Cruz against Pirates, and although she fought bravely and attempted to board another vessel, her masts were shot off and she surrendered. However, only 6 of her original 100 crew members survived the battle, as the rest had been killed in the boarding. She became a part of the Pirates fleet, and was finally sunk off the north coast of Cuba later on by a fleet of Great Britain.
