
Samuel McKee (5 November 1833 – 11 December 1898) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-KY 9) from 4 March 1865 to 3 March 1869, succeeding William H. Wadsworth and preceding John M. Rice.
Biography[]
Samuel McKee was born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky in 1833, and he served as a Union Army captain during the American Civil War. He went on to serve in the US House of Representatives from 1865 to 1869 and as a pension agent in Louisville from 1869 to 1871, and he died in 1898.
