Samuel Hughes Woodson (15 September 1777-28 July 1827) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-KY 2) from 4 March 1821 to 3 March 1823, succeeding Henry Clay and preceding Thomas Metcalfe. Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, he became a lawyer in Nicholasville, Kentucky in 1802 before serving as a court clerk, in Congress, and in the state house from 1825 to 1826.
