Salvatore da San Gimignano (died 1498) was a corrupt official of San Gimignano.
Biography[]
Salvatore was born to a noble Florentine family in the city of San Gimignano, loyal to the House of Pazzi. After the Pazzis fell, he continued to work as a public official but took bribes from Pope Alexander VI to accuse Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze of crimes.
Death[]
Because he was corrupt, Salvatore was an assassination target. Ezio ran up to him in San Gimignano and jumped on his back, stabbing him in the back of the head and greatly reducing his notoriety within Tuscany.
