Salma Paez (born 1979) was a Spanish PSOE politician who served in the Chamber of Deputies from 18 March 2019 to 13 December 2021. Paez was a neoliberal who sat on the PSOE's right wing, and she occasionally rebelled against Prime Minister Martin Rabellino, especially after he passed an unpopular income tax. On 13 December 2021, she and Alonso Borja voted in favor of People's Party leader Adriana Ramos to form the next government, leading to Rabellino firing both Paez and Borja. Paez was succeeded by Elene Duarte, who returned to the Congress after Rabellino had briefly taken her place on the party's upon returning to the Congress.
