
Salar Daulat Khel (1973-2007) was a Taliban commander during the Afghanistan War.
Biography[]
Salar Daulat Khel was born in Helmand Province, Afghanistan to a Pashtun family, and he joined the Taliban due to his support for sharia law. He rose in the ranks and became a local cell leader in Kandahar, and, in 2007, the US Army launched Operation Bargain to clear the Kandahar market of his Taliban forces. Daulat Khel was killed during the gun battle with US forces.
