Salahaddin (1232-) was a guest of Hulegu Khan at the 1264 Ilkhanate Grand Tournament.
Biography[]
Salahaddin was born in 1232 to a family of Shi'ite Muslim Levantines, and he was invited to Hulegu Khan's court during the 1264 Ilkhanate Grand Tournament. He was maimed during the combat, having a scar on the right side of his face.
