Salomone "Sal" Orefice (1980-2008) was a Messina crime family enforcer. In 2008, he was sent to guard Yusuf Amir's construction site in Battery Park, Lower Manhattan, New York City, and he took part in a workers' strike against Amir nominally due to dissatisfaction with foreigners using American labor, while the strike was really started in order to force Amir to pay more money to the Messinas. Orefice was killed by Niko Bellic in the Battery Park construction site shootout.
