Sakka was a Canaanite city-state that existed in southwestern Syria during the Late Bronze Age. A palace was built at some point between 1800 BC and 1600 BC, and Sakka was influenced by Ancient Egypt in the form of its fresco paintings and a sphinx made out of the scapula of a cow.
