Saeko Mukoda

Saeko Mukoda was a Japanese businesswoman and the co-owner and manager of Club Silky Queen in Isezakicho, Yokohama.

Biography[]

Saeko Mukoda was born in Yokohama, Japan, the daughter of Tatsuro Mukoda and the sister of Nanoha Mukoda. She took up part-time work in high school due to her father's poor salary and her mother's death, and she left home in 2012 after a fight with her father and sister. She came to work as a hostess at Isao Nonomiya's Club Silky Queen, and Nonomiya secretly gave her sister Nanoha a job as a prostitute at Otohime Land after their father was placed in the Sunlight Castle retirement home and was supposedly in need of an expensive surgery. In 2019, Sunlight Castle was exposed as a yakuza scam and was shut down, enabling Nanoha to leave her undesirable job and Tatsuro to be moved to a proper care home. However, Nonomiya was murdered by the Yokohama Liumang as Saeko talked to him over the phone about helping her sister pay for her father's care. At Nonomiya's funeral, Mukoda met Ichiban Kasuga, Koichi Adachi, and Yu Nanba, and, although she initially expressed disgust with Nonomiya for his business practices, she eventually broke down after Kasuga reminded her of Nonomiya's good deeds. They recruited Mukoda into their party as they investigated Nonomiya's death, and she would accompany Kasuga as he investigated Saeko's tip that the Liumang was responsible, got hired at the Yokohama Trading Company to help Kasuga and friends investigate the Liumang's counterfeiting operation, took part in the group's fights with the Ijin Three and Omi Alliance, became employed at a Chinese hostess club for a night to get the gang admitted into the building to confront Zheng Tei (who had attempted to lick her armpit), rescued Tianyou Zhao from Akira Mabuchi's rebellion, and later accompanied the gang to Dotonbori as the Great Dissolution took place.

In 2022, Saeko cut off contact with Kasuga after he propsed marriage to her, and she avoided him for a year. In 2023, she rejoined him in Isezakicho and helped to nurse the ailing ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu to health. Kasuga again confessed his feelings to Mukoda after he brought down Hawaii's Palekana cult, and she reciprocated his feelings.
