
Saeed Noori (1985-) was an Australian citizen of Afghan descent who carried out a vehicle ramming attack in Melbourne on 21 December 2017, injuring 19 people. In an informal interview conducted after the attack, he attributed some of his activities to the mistreatment of Muslims.

Saeed Noori was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1985 to a family of Afghan descent. Noori had a history of mental health issues and drug use, and, in 2010, he was charged with causing reckless injury; in June 2017, he was convicted of driving while unlicensed, using a mobile phone while driving, and failing to answer bail. On 21 December 2017, using a relative's Suzuki Vitara SUV, Noori decided to launch a ramming attack against civilians in Melbourne. He drove onto the tram tracks at the corner of Flinders and Elizabeth Streets, accelerating and injuring 19 people. Noori was wrestled to the ground and arrested by an off-duty policeman, and he would attribute his actions to dreams and voices, as well as concerns for the treatment of Muslims.
