Sadeq Akbari (died 24 April 2016) was an Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps soldier from Iran who served in the Syrian Civil War. In one picture posted to Twitter by "War Reports " showed him firing a Dragunov sniper rifle, proving that Iranians were not only involved in training the Syrian Arab Army, but also fighting alongside them. He was killed in Aleppo on 24 April 2016.
