The SS Rotterdam was a steam ocean liner launched and completed in Ireland in 1908. She was owned and operated by the Holland America Line throughout her career, and she was the largest and swiftest ship in the company's fleet until 1929. The Rotterdam repatriated American citizens fleeing Germany and Switzerland at the start of World War I, and she made her final voyage from Rotterdam to New York City in November-December 1939. She was scrapped in January 1940.
