The SR Combat Organization was an autonomous terrorist brigade of the Socialist Revolutionary Party of the Russian Empire that existed from 1902 to 1908. The group was founded by Grigory Gershuni in 1902 during the political upheaval in Russia, and the SRs were responsible for the murders of Dmitry Sipyagin, Vyacheslav von Plehve, and Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich of Russia from 1904 to 1905, in addition to several other murders. From 1903 to 1906, the group had over 12 women and over 48 men, with most of the SRs being between 20 and 30 years old. 19 were Jews and 2 Poles, while the other 39 were Russian. The Russian governorate clamped down on the SRs after the failure of the 1905 Revolution, and the SRs disbanded in 1908.
