S.O.S. Romania is a far-right political party in Romania that was founded in 2021 by former members of the Romanian Socialist Party and Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR). Senator Diana Sosoaca of the AUR defected to S.O.S. Romania in May 2022, and she demanded Romania's withdrawal from the European Union while criticizing NATO and supporting Russia amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine; however, the party formally stated its opposition to "Russian and Chinese dictatorships" and claimed that it supported EU membership. Sosoaca promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and supported the legacy of Iron Guard leader Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, demanding that Ukraine return Bessarabia and northern Bukovina to Romania. The party won 7.76% of the vote at the 2024 legislative elections, acquiring representation in both the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
