The Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) is a far-right military formation consisting of Russian nationalist and neo-Nazi volunteers who volunteered to fight for the Ukrainian cause against Vladimir Putin's regime during the Russo-Ukrainian War. Neo-Nazi football hooligan Denis Kapustin founded the RVC and recruited right-wing Russian emigrants, and he attempted to recruit white nationalists by claiming that Russia had become a police state; he criticized Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky for being Jewish and for "promot(ing) the worst of liberal values," but he argued that Putin was worse. The RVC did not collaborate with the Freedom of Russia Legion due to ideological differences, and Ukraine denied that the RVC was affiliated with its armed forces.
