Rupert Perkins was an English Royal Navy captain who was stationed in Port Royal during the 17th century. In 1668, he ordered his crew to fire their cannons at the pirate Morgan Adams and the con man William Shaw as they attempted to flee Port Royal on a carriage, but they were able to escape.
