Rudolf Dressler

Rudolf Dressler (17 November 1940 – 8 January 2025) was a German SPD member of the Bundestag from 1980 to 2000 and Ambassador to Israel from 2000 to 2005. Born in Sprockhoevel and educated in Wuppertal, he worked in the newspaper industry before entering politics.
