Royal Festival Hall

The Royal Festival Hall is a 2,900-seat concert, dance, and talks venue located on the south bank of the River Thames in Lambeth, London, England. It opened on 3 May 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain, and it was taken over by the Arts Council in 1986. In 1981, it became the first post-World War II building to be afforded Class I status.
