The Royal Faction was an informal grouping of royalist politicians in the Emirate of Bukhara that was active from 1836 to 1920. The Royal Faction espoused conservative views, supporting the privileges of the monarchy and the aristocracy. The Royal Faction opposed foreign trade, supported a state-run capitalist system, supported the preservation of religious and social traditions, and supported a strong military. The Royal Faction was in power for nearly the entire existence of the emirate, and it dissolved in 1920.
