
Ronnie Green (1961-) was President of the United States from 20 January 2001, succeeding Gavin King.
Biography[]
Ronnie Green was born in Wheeling, West Virginia in 1961, and he served in the US House of Representatives before mounting a bid for the presidency in 2000. Green was an energetic campaigner, and he advocated for social conservatism and fiscal conservatism. On Election Day, he won 305 electoral votes to Democrat James Bricker's 233; he notably won the swing states on Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, annd New Hampshire, while Bricker scored an unusual victory in Georgia, securing 47.79% of the vote to Green's 47.64%. Green won every West Virginia county with over 75% of the vote.
