Ron "Slider" Kerner (1957-) was a naval aviator of the US Navy who was among the best pilots of the United States, attending TOPGUN.

Ron Kerner was born in 1957, and he joined the US Navy's aviation wing. Kerner served as the radar intercept officer for Lieutenant Tom "Iceman" Kazanski in 1986, and he shared Kazanski's cocky personality while they attended TOPGUN, a school for the best aviators in the United States. Kerner flew with Iceman on several combat missions and training missions, and he assisted him in becoming the top pilot in his class.
