Roland Napule (23 February 1122 - 5 October 1190) was a doctor of the Knights Templar in the city of Tyre in the Kingdom of Jerusalem. Notoriously cruel, he was killed by the Hashshashin in 1190.

Napule's death
Roland Napule was born in the Norman Kingdom of Sicily in the city of Naples, and became a member of the Knights Templar. Napule was well-versed in both medicine and writing, becoming a doctor and a scribe. During the Third Crusade, Napule opened a hospital in the city of Tyre in the Kingdom of Jerusalem, where he became known for his cruelty.
In 1190, the Hashshashin Master Assassin Altair Ibn-La'Ahad was sent to assassinate him in his hospital. Altair managed to defeat his guards, and jumped from a chandelier to assassinate him from the air.
