Rojas

Rojas (died 1993) was an accountant for the Medellin Cartel under Pablo Escobar. He was loyal to his boss until the end, and he was shot dead by Juan Diego Diaz, who did not want to go ahead with Pablo's planned attack on the Cali Cartel at Montecasino.

Biography[]

Rojas was from Medellin, Colombia, and he became an accountant. By 1993, he was working for Pablo Escobar and the Medellin Cartel, and he was one of the men who was responsible for managing Escobar's tight money during his war with Los Pepes, the Cali Cartel, and the government. He was sent with Ricardo Prisco and Juan Diego Diaz to retrieve the last of Escobar's money from his safehouses and spend it on hiring mercenaries for an attack on the Cali Cartel base at Montecasino, and the three of them headed to downtown Medellin to retrieve the stashed money. However, Diaz turned his gun on them and shot them both dead rather than go along with the suicide mission.
