Roi Levy (1979-7 October 2023) was an IDF colonel who commanded the Multidimensional Unit. Born in the United States and raised in Jerusalem, he served in the IDF in South Lebanon before serving as operations officer of the Golani Brigade during the Second Lebanon War and rising to command the brigade during Operation Protective Edge in 2014. On 30 July 2023, he was appointed to command the Multidimensional Unit, and he was killed in battle with Hamas terrorists at the Battle of Re'im in October 2023.
