
Rognvaldr Olafsson (1194-1249) was Count of Mann from 1248 to 1249, succeeding Haraldr Olafsson and preceding Magnus Olafsson.
Biography[]
Rognvaldr Olafsson was born in 1194, a son of Olaf the Black and the brother of Haraldr Olafsson and Magnus Olafsson. After his brother was lost at sea in 1248, Rognvaldr became the new Count of Mann, but he was slain by the knight Ivarr and his accomplices on the orders of Gudrodr Rognvaldsson's son a year later.
