Roger Daltrey

Roger Harry Daltrey (born 1 March 1944) was a British singer and the co-founder of the rock band "the Who". Born in Acton, London, England in 1944, he made his first guitar in 1957 and formed "the Who" with his primary school friends Pete Townshend and John Entwistle in 1964. Daltrey served as the band's lead singer, and the band released several hit songs throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Daltrey began a concurrent solo career in 1973, and "the Who" broke up in 1983, although the band periodically reunited for tours.

Daltrey was originally a supporter of the Labour Party, but he came to oppose Labour over Tony Blair's "mass immigration" policies and also criticized Jeremy Corbyn as a "communist". He also supported Brexit and denounced Hillary Clinton, the "Me Too" movement, and the rise of woke culture.
