Rodney Davis (5 January 1970-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-IL 13) from 3 January 2013 to 3 January 2023, succeeding Judy Biggert and preceding Nikki Budzinski.
Biography[]
Rodney Davis was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1970, and he worked for Secretary of State George Ryan after leaving college. In 1996, he lost a race for the state legislature, and he went on to serve as a staffer for Congressman John Shimkus. He was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2012, serving as a Republican Party member. In 2018 and 2020, he narrowly won re-election against Democrat Betsy Londrigan, but he was defeated for renomination in 2022.
